This world is on the edge of moral decay. America’s strength cannot rise above the righteousness and strength of her churches. Faithless and false leadership in the church leads to spiritual devastation and ruin not only for the leaders but for the people they lead. Many times people are balanced precariously between heaven and hell, thus, the truth must not be altered, watered down, or compromised, whether it be in the church or in the U.S. government.
“The United States of America,” was founded on, the “Holy Bible” and the “moral values” of the “Inspired Word of God” – such as, truth, honesty, integrity, purity, virtue, and faithful devotion to God and His Word. We believe true “Americans” desire “Moral Values.” “Christian faith” and belief in the “Holy Scriptures” have been silenced in the political realm and kept hidden in the deep recesses of hearts, for too many years. A person, who makes a declaration of faith including Christian principles, should be one who also takes a stand for “moral values.”
It is wonderful for everyone when Government Officials uphold “moral values.” On the other hand, it is harmful to everyone when individual United States Government Officials, who profess to be Christians, try to hide the sins of church leaders and in so doing they become part of the corruption. A double standard exists in the church and out of the church. It takes rational thinking to acknowledge that the tentacles of this same church corruption have reached into civil government. This Church and Government scandal is a reproach to everyone.
The Church is not a place to hide your immoral and ungodly acts; thus demonstrating false Christianity / spiritual hypocrisy. Instead, the Church should stand for teaching, rebuking, and correction, all manifested through the love of Jesus Christ. This world is our testing, proving, and training ground for Eternity. The book of Revelation in the Bible teaches us that true repentance and genuine restitution is required by God. “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.” (Revelation 2:5)
