BROKEN YET TRIUMPHANT, is a fictional drama that is based upon a true story. This story follows a minister and his wife through the trials and tribulations that occur in their lives. The couple makes a terrible and heart-breaking discovery when they find the bodies of their dear friends, who had been violently murdered. They deal with these untimely deaths and other trials by utilizing their strong faith in the Lord. Aimee Anderson’s writing is strong and lends an unspoken grace to Broken, Yet Triumphant that would translate beautifully onto the screen (a theatre film is currently progressing). The premise of the double-murder mystery and other near-death experiences may appear to drive the plot, but the spiritual journeys that the minister, his wife, and their family, chose to take only sharpen Broken, Yet Triumphant and its poignant message.
Broken, Yet Triumphant is home to vivid imagery and crisp dialog. It is a masterful blend of suspense and discovery that could easily be seen on the big screen. Anderson’s magnificent attention to detail greatly accentuates the high drama surrounding this family in Broken, Yet Triumphant.
Aimee Anderson, author of Broken, Yet Triumphant, is the wife of a minister. She and her husband, Albert, are both very accomplished authors. They co-authored Sunshine Through Clouds, sequel to Broken, Yet Triumphant; Whited Sepulchres; A Generation of Vipers; White Collar Crime in the Church, and Grand Jury Mystery.
